G2 Tejo problem

Why did people think Trent was going to be affected more by the tejo nerf than G2 as a whole? Watching them play against PRX today, they just looked empty, especially on split, I think the tejo nerf genuinely heavily impacted their playstyle as a team, when it wasn’t an ult round they just sort of walked around and played very basic valorant, aside from the stinger buy, it feels like they’ve lost their identity as a team without tejo. Hopefully they can find their identity from the pre tejo days again. Because I genuinely don’t believe they can make top 3 playing like this.

my reason for believing it would be trent most impacted due to tejo needs was because of his 2024 performance, he didn’t look so hot and i think tejo is the main reason for his great performance this year

i changed my mind and said that g2 would look weaker while trent still looked good because i think tejo ruins teamplay and not players. tejo makes players worse and i think initiators like trent/n4rrate/ash/etc. are held back because they’re forced to play it, but in turn the game plan of the whole teams becomes a lot more uncomfortable

either way, g2 seemed totally unprepared for a tejo-less meta despite trent looking good

g2s 30 fakes with insert shit doesnt work aswell without the refreshible tejo mollies, they kept on giving up free sites on lotus attack

They made him rely on Tejo like a crutch. It's just like when people thought KangKang needed the Op. All Trent needs to do is focus on his macro and he'll be fine.

Individually, both Trent Sova and Tejo are awesome
But as part of team, Trent movement is more limited

This is coaching staff problem rather than trent problem
