I used to play on a Logitech g203 a shit mouse with greasy rusty mousepad but got immo2 and was good with my aim. I played on 0.098 1600dpi sens.

I recently got suggested for new mouse and mousepad so i got razer viper pro v3 faker edition and razer gigantus mousepad which is very smooth.

Since new setup my mouse movement been so smooth and i can’t decide my sens. I went from 0.098 to 0.093 then 0.092 and 0.09 everything is keep on feeling faster the next day. I don’t feel consistent with my aim.

I tried changing dpi 400 to 800 4000hz nothing seems working i still over aim or over flick. Any suggestions?

Which dpi is best for ultra mouse control for such smoothnesses and what would be good?

I am on so low sens but for me it feels so fast its weird. Please help.

Your pads way smoother and your mouse is lighter, which is why it feels hard to control. DONT change ur mouse dpi (even with same edpi it actually feels different). I’d recommend just grinding dms and aim trainers to get used to the new feel. Precision Flick related aim labs tasks might help you as well.

What really is the difference between these dpis? 400 dpi 800 and 1600? I for some reason with this upgrade overthinking. I used to be insane i got immo3 with 60fps laptop and that shitty mouse. Now since little upgrade its been month. I can’t get used to one sens i don’t know why.

Like what is difference between these dpis? And what should i do for maximum control for my mouse and stop overshooting because no matter how low i go it feels fast

So technically edpi is the only thing that matters (0.5 400 dpi and 0.25 800 dpi are the same for an example). However, in reality I believe your actually best on the mouse dpi that u are used to using, so if you want to change ur sensitivity stick to 1600 dpi and change ur in game sens

The overshooting will always happen with new mousepads imo
I like to play tasks like six shot or any kind of precision flicking tasks in aim trainers to get more comfortable. It’s simply gonna take time to adjust but once you get used to ur new mouse and mousepad you’ll realize how much you were missing out on before

Its different size of mouse, different shape which affects your grip, different sensor position, theres dpi deviation between mice, different skates, different mousepad, different weight. You cant just copy the same settings and expect the same performance. You need to adapt, just play around. Also whats your mouse grip and handsize? Maybe vv3 isnt for you

I changed mice and went from 0.47 to 0.23. People just copy other peoples settings but its wont be the same unless you have the literal same setup. Just play around and choose your sens

Tbf at least for me I like copying settings as base and then changing stuff around it's just a nice place to start but yeah fully copying them is a horrible idea

Bro you wouldn't believe how much it differs. I bought a mouse with adjustable sensor position and the difference between high sensor position and low is gigantic. High sensor pos. feels like way higher sens and lower feels way more controlled. And mice differ in many aspects this is just one

I have the gigantus and even tho it's very smooth I prefer control pads so I switched back to my artisan zero and I'm more consistent with my aim, since the gigantus is pretty fast try to lower your sens
Also, idk if you did it but on the razer synapse app you can pick the gigantus, I still prefer 1000hz over 4000/8000 imo

I’ve heard anything about 2000hz causes a bunch of issues

yeah all it does is make my CPU go crazy, if you don't have a 240hz monitor and an insane setup it's not even worth it, even then you won't really notice a difference it's placebo imo
