He only play Phoenix, Reyna, and Yoru but said he is open to suggestions and has recently played Omen and Killjoy and has found more success than usual, but does Killjoy setups bad and forgets to smoke as Omen so I need him a new main

to have impact with sage you need aim, on cypher, kj, vyse u can delay the enemies and you can get easy kills using nanos, trips and sensors. You can also easily watch flanks to get impact. On sage tho, u can't do any of those since the wall is gone in 1 second and the slow orbs don't last very long. U can't hold space as good with sage as you can do with other sentinels.

deadlock and sage specialize in holding space, other sentinels get chosen for info purposes (vyse can do both so she's very strong rn)

i mean every sentinel is "specialized" in holding space. Cypher has trips, deadlock has wall & sensors, kj has nanos & alarmbot & sage has wall. Compared the sage wall is the worst of them, since it gets broken almost instantly and you can't really get kills off it (from cypher trips etc. you can)

specialized within the sentinels class, cypher and killjoy impact on holds is situational and inconsistent since all their util is breakable and predictable, on sage you can literally just wall off something and then slow and meaningfully delay a hit or a retake for 30 seconds with zero effort

70 ping is only a guess because the wifi is very all over the place and he says he “rubber-bands” which makes it hard to aim. I am diamond and when I watch him play in unrated (his rank is bronze) he has good crosshair placement and has decent aim but then he lags and dies. Also he has a lack of deeper understanding of the game and I’m not sure how to teach him
