What is the point of the rearrange

I'm pretty sure last year was split to fight half the teams in vct split 1, then another half split 2. But now nrg are getting pummeled by mibr again next split? G2 are going to pummel furia and C9 again? Is this system supposed to be adapting current power rankings? Not a fan

I blame the tournament organizers and whoever proposed this dumb format

I liked the "everyone plays everyone" format. This one is unnecessary, idk why they did this
