Do they deserve to win Masters Bangkok?
Yes, they were better than everyone else in that tournament at least in the last couple of games when it really mattered.

Do they deserve to be in the conversation for the best team of 2025 from this point forward?
No, they’ve fallen off or rather, returned to their original form because their insane performance didn’t last.

they were not better than G2 in that tournament, they peaked at the right time but overall they were either 2 or 3 in terms of their level of play through kickoff and swiss

What does this even mean

They were the best in the only objective measure that exists. If we want to pick and choose random points in time then we could also point to when EDG qualified 2-0 in swiss and played the best, but they still don't get a trophy.

This imaginary "throughout the tournament" performance does not make another team better than the winner.
